Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra, where she is also an Integrated Researcher at the Legal Institute.

In addition to teaching at the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra – at the Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctorate levels –, she has participated in several Postgraduate courses at the main Portuguese universities.

She is the author of several published monographs, numerous articles and jurisprudence annotations in legal journals, in addition to collaborating in collective works and commentaries on legislation.

She has been invited to speak at several conferences and seminars and has given frequent training sessions aimed at jurists, lawyers and judicial magistrates.

She has extensive experience as a legal consultant in the civil, commercial, corporate, insolvency and competition areas.

In 2023 she received the Five Star Women Competition Professionals – Academia & Economics distinction, granted by the organization W@- Women.
