José has practised as a lawyer since 1974, and is a founding partner of Pragma Advogados.

José is currently, and since 1980, lawyer for the Swiss Embassy in our country.

He practices mainly in the areas of civil law, criminal law, family and inheritance law, and private international law, particularly in matters connected with the Swiss Confederation. The nature of his professional practice also led him to focus on the field of commercial companies.

An enthusiast of complex legal topics, José has been proposing innovative and pragmatic solutions to issues long debated in jurisprudence and doctrine.
